Over the Summer in 2021, I served as an intern for the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana’s Department of Cultural, Historical, and Natural Resources. As part of my internship, I was a guest speaker at Ohaiyi Ittohayo- Summer in the Woods Youth Conservation Camp, where I spoke to tribal youth about archaeology and led the children in an archaeological dig using chocolate chip cookies.
